like a child clinging to their parents leg

As of recent, all I have been thinking is, "What would it look like if we just learned to host the Presence of God?"  Would people get out of their church pew and leave?  Or would they get out of their church pew to lay their bodies on the ground in honor of the Man that just walked into the room?

Me?  I wonder if I would even feel Him walk into the room.  I wonder if I would be so wrapped up in what I thought He was saying that I did not even take a breath to see what He was doing.  The thought of me missing Him breaks my heart, but I am sure it has happened more than I want to know.

Jesus.

I want to be everywhere He is.  I never want to miss a beat.  But that requires sacrifice.  It takes saying,

"You can have it all Lord, every part of my world.  Take this life and breath on, this life that is now Yours." - Brian Johnson

And not just saying it, but following up on the words that just left your lips.  Opening your heart daily to what moves Him.  Opening your mind to what He says to a certain situation. Opening your eyes to what He is doing, where He is going.  Because there is a chance we could miss it if we are not like a small child who clings to their fathers leg not wanting him to leave their presence.

Just think about it.  When you see a child leave its parents for the first time, whether it is in the nursery at church or with a babysitter, the child freaks out because their parents are no longer by their side.  They cling to their parents leg and will not let go.  And more than half the time, probably 80% of the time, the child knows the person it is being left with!!  But if you have ever babysat or volunteered in the nursery you know that the child gets over it and is alright after few minutes of hyperventilating cries.  They forget about their parents and go about having fun.  Then the parent comes back and they run into their arms and life is good.

Even though this scenario is okay with humans and it is a part of life as we grow up, I NEVER want to be okay with the Father leaving my side.  I NEVER want Him leaving me to become "okay", I NEVER want it to become normal.  Like I live two different lives.  One with Him, one without Him.  Call me crazy, but I would rather die than live without Him.  I want to be so enthralled with Him in all His glory that I host His presence and therefore His presence never leaves me.  We are one.

If this is the case, than when Jesus' manifest Presence walks into the room, my spirit, soul, and body respond to Him like a hunting dog to the hunted.  My whole being is set on Him.

Love Has Come

It is like the breeze touching your skin on that cool spring day.  When you feel it, you know what will soon come.  Summer.  The spring breeze is the beginning of beauty birthing.  The flowers blooming, the trees receiving the life back into them.

Or the warm scents that accompany autumn which signifies the ushering in of the joyous holiday season.   When you take the first step outside and breathe in the crisp air....

I am swaying in the presence of the One who beckoned me out of the darkness.  I saw the Light, but now I see the Light.  It is within me.  The One who beckoned me abides inside of me.  The glory of the Almighty God abides in me.  The presence though, how am I inside a presence that is in me??

"I beckoned you and you responded so it was My pleasure to manifest My glory around you," answered the Sovereign God.

"Father," I ask, "Why could I not see You?  Why was it that all I saw was failure and mishaps in front of me?  Why could I not see You?"

He answers gently, "YOU lost sight of ME.  You lost sight of me because you chose to put your belief in fear, not in faith."
"You see," He continues, "fear is a future that the enemy places in your mind that will not happen
when you  have faith in Me.  I bring revelation and vision that pulls the Kingdom of Heaven down to Earth.  Will the journey I set out for you be perfect?  Well, is the world you live in perfect? I believe you have found that answer.  When you put your faith in Me, fear no longer designs your future, I do."

I begin to realize we are dancing.  How this dancing began I am not sure, but I am sure of how easy and natural it is with Him.  I close my eyes and let myself follow where He is going.  It is wild, this feeling inside of me.  It is as though I know the next step He will take with me.

He speaks and it startles me a bit.

"Well daughter, that is what happens when you have faith in Me."

I somehow had forgotten that He can hear my thoughts.

"When you have faith in Me, we are able to envision the wildest adventure together.  The best thing about it is you trust in me to lead You.  You will not know where you are going, only when you get there.  That is the greatest part.  When we cast vision together, I give you a picture of what it will look like if you follow My lead.  That is why you cannot fear because it then disrupts our union and vision I have given you."

And then it happened.  Fear completely left me and I began to recognize what season it was.  It was a season that would last forever.  If I let it, that is.  You see, Love never intended, never even wanted to leave us.  Man, us humans, decided that at the beginning of this world through Adam and Eve.

"The ground began to shake, the stone was rolled away.  His perfect love could not be overcome.  Now death where is your sting?!  OUR RESURRECTED KING HAS RENDERED YOU DEFEATED!!" - Bethel Music

Their perfect love for us, enables us to no longer be fearful.

Let us read what John the Beloved wrote..

1 John 4:15-18
"All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
We know how much God loves us, and we have to put our trust in His love.
God is love, and all who live in love, live in God, and God lives in them.
And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.  So we will not be afraid on the day of judgement, but we can face Him with confidence because because we live like Jesus here in this world.
Such a love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.  If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment and this shows that we have not fully experienced His perfect love."

When we become so enthralled and in love with Him, fear has no place.  But, my dear friends, that is our choice.

Will we allow Love himself encounter us?

Will we allow ourselves to dream from the heart of Love, from the heart of our Father?

Will we say no to fear, and yes to Love?

we say no to fear.

I am running.  Running around aimlessly in the dark and I cannot seem to find my way to the Light.  I am trying, sincerely trying, but all I can see is the darkness all around.  Darkness screams.  He screams so loud at me that it is nearly impossible to hear the Lights voice.  I try my best to block the darkness' voice out, but it is as if he is doing his very best to make sure I do not hear the voice of his enemy.

Then I hear it.  The Lights voice.  He whispers, "Close your eyes."

"Close my eyes?!  But that will only make it darker,"  I say to Him.

Again He whispers, "Close you eyes.  I am here.  Just close your eyes."

I scream at Him, "But You do not understand!!"

I can feel my pulse heightening as my heart is beating out of my chest.  Why?  I ask myself.  Why is it that I know I can trust The Light but when He beckons me out of my darkness, I am afraid?  Shouldn't what is around me be what is most frightening?  Shouldn't it be what drives me into The Light?

I stop running.  I stand still.  I focus on His voice.

"Beloved, close your eyes,"  He calmly says.

"If you close your eyes, then you surely will not know where you are going," firmly says the voice trying to distract me.

"Focus, beloved.  Focus on my voice.  Close your eyes and trust me."

"It will be useless.  You will close your eyes and you will be surrounded by darkness even more.  You will then become even more lost than you already are."

I silence the voice that got me here in the first place and I close my eyes.

Light.  I see Him.  He calms my heavily beating heart and my pulse begins to slow.  I can hear the worship of the saints and angels all around me.  No, I am not dying.  At least my mortal body is not.  I hear His love crashing over me.  One would think that it would cause me to drown yet it breathes life into my very being.  His voice is so kind.  His Presence is so sweet.  Why I would ever drift out of this is beyond me but whenever He seems to call me to something greater I.......

FEAR.
I fear.

Can you believe it?!  I, a woman after God's heart, fears.  All this time I thought I was fearless.  I thought I had allowed perfect love to cast that out.  And I believe I truly did.  Then I decided I did not want to live an average life so I started to dream big dreams.  Dreams that only can happen with the Lord's mighty hand.  Then that dark weasel let himself in through the back door of my mind because I had forgotten who I was which is what caused that blasted door to be open.  I should get rid of the door, truly.

All this happened not because I "slipped into sin" or "was not strong enough to resist temptation".  It happened because I forgot who I was.  I forgot that I was an ambassador of the Most High God and from a Kingdom that knows NO end.

I feel called to take you on a journey.  A journey to overcome fear and walk purposefully in the calling of which you were called.  And allow me to say this.  This will not be through a series of blogs, which I truly believe is a great thing to do and there will be series throughout this I am sure, but his will be through me letting you into my life.  Me and my husband's journey through life and what God is calling us into during this next season.

I hope you enjoy this journey.  And I pray that our life will speak volumes to you.  And I declare that it will awaken Love in you.

We say no to fear.
We say yes to Love.
We will go with You,
Where You're leading us.
